Born in England, Anna showed an interest in art from an early age. Her passion for art, however, was put on the backburner while she earned a degree in microbiology at the University of Guelph and pursued a career in science. She rediscovered her art about 10 years ago, while taking a career break to raise her family of three boys. Completely self taught, she started selling her art around 5 years ago and is now a full time artist.

Anna specializes in vivid, acrylic landscapes and floral studies. She boldly uses colour and contrast to capture beautiful snapshots of her life & environment. She hopes her work will evoke a joyful response in the viewer and convey her general sense of optimism for life. Most of her inspiration is from her home city of Toronto, her travels and her neighbour's gardens. Since she works from photographs, you will often see her out and about with her digital camera in hand. Anna is also a member of the Beach Guild of Fine Art in Toronto. She sells her work in galleries, from her home studio, shows or through commissions.
