Over many summers taking courses at the Haliburton School of Fine Arts, Sandra discovered her love for working with fabric, delving into collage and fibre arts. Now she focuses on colour and form to create pieces that are both functional and beautiful – coiled cotton baskets, bowls, plates, table runners, and more – using multi-coloured, cotton fabrics and cotton rope (and a lot of thread). Many of her pieces are embellished with beads, ornaments, yarn, buttons, or found objects.
