The colourful intuitive paintings by Ruth Elizabeth Hayes M.A. are often described as magical and inspiring.  She works primarily in watercolour, acrylic, and mixed media finding inspiration in nature, the imaginal, and mythic realm.  Working as an Expressive arts therapist for many years added new depth and meaning to her work providing a glimpse of the creative gift at our core. Her home and studio is in the Beach where walking the shore with the dog everyday feeds the creative fire. . She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows with her work hanging in private collections throughout the world.  Participating in the Fall or Spring Studio tour has been ongoing for more than twenty years and she is grateful for the warm support and connections from the Beach community.
